MIKADO ENTERPRISES LTD. is a family run business, now extending to the third generation. Kamenosuke & Sawae Natsuhara immigrated from Japan in the early 1920s. During the war the family was forced to evacuate to the Okanagan & survived in a barn without any modern conveniences. In 1952 after returning to Vancouver the family started a martial arts business, which reflected part of the culture they left behind in Japan. Following their heritage, the business started with Judo, Karate & Kendo supplies. Eventually the business expanded to include supplies for Taekwondo, Jiujitsu, Aikido, Hapkido, Boxing & Kick Boxing.



Kamenosuke & Sawae believed the martial arts discipline was good for the body & mind. Their legacy continues.
